We ate here on our last night in Portugal and were so disappointed we hadn’t tried it sooner! It was the absolute best meal and drinks of our trip. We had the sea bass and prawns cooked in a coconut milk sauce and they were amazing! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. They even offered us a ride back to our hotel after the meal and Prosecco on the house when we arrived. Unfortunately we don’t have any pictures because it looked so good we just dug right in!

We visited La Cabane for a friend's birthday after it being recommended. We were picked up and returned by their own minibus. The driver was very knowledgeable about the restaurant, menu and the locate area. Very interesting. The young waiter who served us presented the catch of the day and gave great advise in a very professional matter. We were served our drinks and food without delay and all the food was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this as a special night out with excellent staff and food. Only blot was an issue over the bill, where there was an extra bottle of wine added by mistake, was was rectified.

A lovely evening at this family restaurant from the moment we walked through the door, to the free transport we unexpectedly received for our trip back to our hotel. The service from our waiter was superb; he made sure we were all looked after and gave great advice about our food and drink options. All three of our meals were beautifully presented and tasted delicious, too. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and we would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something warm, homely and authentic.
Excellent food and wine, multitingual caring service and explanations (Portugese, English and French at least), a bit pricy but worths it. I deplore, however, the excessive wait for the dishes (one hour), which really got on my nerves.

The quality/price ratio is poor in relation to the service provided. We ordered a 2-liter pitcher of sangria for €25, which came half with fruit and a large amount of ice. The cheapest dessert cost €4.50.
