“We have stayed in Conrad for my birthday. Dined in Gusto on first night and it was the best experience I have ever had.
We have opted for 9 course tasting menu, spent three hours constantly eating! Extra bread and amuse Bouche, with some petit four to finish.
Amazing sommelier recommended us local Alvarino.

“My fave place this holiday (so far) Best meal that Ppl need to go there and up the ratings! Highly recommend for fresh seafood but they do have other foodstuff. Great views and staff, some are so experienced, and even the customer kids are so well mannered. Open til 12 midnight which is the latest we have come across.

“Loved this place. The atmosphere was incredible with live music and a very homely feel. The staff are very attentive and kind. The food was lovely and authentic; definitely freshly made. The chips especially were incredible. Prices were solid too, meals around €10 each and soft drinks were all around €2.50. We turned up without a booking and they were full so we booked for a future date, so definitely book in advance.

Had the chicken bitoque which I'd never had before but it was great.

Would definitely return and recommend.

“Absolutely fantastic food and service. We wanted a break from fish (they also serve fresh fish) and ordered the Argentinian Picanha with cheese for 2 as it was recommended by the server. The meat is delicious and well cooked, and it is a large portion which includes fries, rice, beans and the best chorizo I tried to date. The oranges and grilled pineapple were also a nice touch. Bring cash and your appetite.“

“10/10 experience! The live music paired with the ocean breeze and the friendliest staff made for an amazing experience. We went out of our way to stop here for lunch and it was one of the highlights of our trip!

Kid-friendliness: My daughter was with us and there was a high chair for her to sit at. Many other families had children and some even were playing with some wigs they had on site.“

“A wonderful gem in Vilamoura! From the time we arrived until we left, the service was fantastic. The waiters were attentive, professionally skilled and made good recommendations for food and drink. We started with drinks that tasted heavenly.

The concept is sharing and you have a large and exciting selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. We ate four courses and were full.

The place is cozy decorated and the food arrived quickly. The waiters always poured wine and water, and were very pleasant and service minded.

“Good fish restaurant, it has tables inside and a covered terrace, good equipment, he showed us the fish we were going to have for dinner. We ordered grilled squid, with a side of potatoes and vegetables. A grilled parguete with the same garnish as the squid, just right. If the grilled meals are accompanied with a light sauce, I think they would gain a lot, it is a very personal opinion, but it has happened to me in restaurants in Portugal .To top off a very delicious cake. recommendable“

“The owner is the maitre d’. He is friendly and accommodating. He knows his food allergens very well and also his wines. An excellent white port to start too. The dates and bacon for starter were exquisite and the steaks with sauce O Arco was sooo tender. We went back the next night and would have gone again if the holiday had been longer.“

“Very nice local Portuguese restaurant in Villamoura. Very friendly staff anf service. We had olives and macrel for starters next to a glass of white wine and for main we ordered rice with razor clams for 2 people (35€). Exceptional service! We had some trouble eating the rice (clams had some sand as it sometimes happens) so the dish was immediately replaced with seafood rice stew which tasted amazing! Felt very welcomed and taken care of, thank you! ❤️“

“Dinner with friends, bread and butter cover, then we ordered several dishes to share, octopus salad, fried shrimp, grilled squid, clams, etc. Everything was very well prepared and in generous portions.

Out of the wide variety of restaurants available we took a punt on this one and it certainly delivered. Had sardines and fillet steak. Both were cooked very well with good seasoning but the fillet steaks were truly excellent, the best we've had in a very, very long time.

“Good restaurant with tables inside and on the terrace, good team, friendly and attentive if you need anything, the owner is very friendly. Wide variety of fish and specialized in rice and cataplanas, we order the seafood rice and they bring you a casserole for 3 or 4 servings, you have to go hungry, good rice and a large amount of varied seafood, prawns, crayfish, beef, crab, mussels, clams. Very rich.

They put us at a table, with no indication that it would be "just for food"... well, but in the end it was decided, it was just boring!

The food was very good...we had the prawn curry and pork loin.Live singing and instrumental music provided an amazing atmosphere. “Loved it! A traditional little Portuguese restaurant on a back street just off the beach front. We were enticed by the number of locals eating their lunch, and the previous good reviews on here. It’s the “Menu do Dia” set menu format that includes a main, drink, dessert and coffee for the bargain price of 12 euro. We had the traditional lamb stew and tuna salad, both of which were delicious, with huge portions, followed by the mango mousse. Yum! It’s never going to win a Michelin star, but for good, hearty, traditional food, you can’t fault it.“
