We were eating a couple of days ago. We arrived at 2:15 p.m. and without looking at the menu we ordered a "sabateira" and a turbot at €59/kilo. They show us one weighing 2,300kg (that is, a minimum cost is €120). They brought it to us at 3:50 p.m.! An hour and a half later and it was burned. They put the burnt part hidden at the bottom and when we said it, the waiter tried to convince us that it is normal for a fish to be charred, no excuses, we had the problem according to him.
The service was pretty bad too. About 5 waiters came to serve us and even so our table was dirty, missing cutlery and making mistakes with the order of drinks.

My recommendation is: don't be fooled by the nice restaurant on the beach, there are much better restaurants in the same area and with the same views.

My fave place this holiday (so far) Best meal that Ppl need to go there and up the ratings! Highly recommend for fresh seafood but they do have other foodstuff. Great views and staff, some are so experienced, and even the customer kids are so well mannered. Open til 12 midnight which is the latest we have come across.
(so far i have been to:
Aroma di Mare xXx closest, so went 3 times at 11.15pm for takeaway, lunchtime and snack b4 dinner!
Casa Velha xXx at roundabout, towards Newtown
Flavours - Oldtown sea views (inbetween Oceano and Louisano)
RMs Restaurante Martins (more outside towards villamoura/balaia)
Tasca Portuguesa at the Marina xXx
6degrees Paragrafo for cocktails at end of marina
Least good was Tsatsumi
Natsu in Loulé, ramen was best, rest wasn't great or fresh ...)

We recently dined at Rosa Branca only to be thoroughly disappointed. This place is nothing more than a tourist trap with indifferent and inefficient service.

The only reason people come here is its prime location at the beginning of the promenade by the sea. However, the service is chaotic and disorganized. There are about three different queues to enter, with people standing around waiting for a table. The hostess is completely useless, frequently forgetting who was next in line and seating people who arrived 15 minutes later before those who had been waiting.

After protesting, we finally got a table, but it was another letdown. The restaurant interior resembles a hospital, with barren walls, harsh white lighting, and no renovation or decoration in the last 10 years.

The service continued to be a disaster. It took 25 minutes just to get some bread to the table. While the food wasn’t bad, the portions were small for the price, and by that point, we were desperate to leave.

If you want delicious, cheap seafood, go to Agua Salgada nearby. For seafood with a view, take a taxi to Roxa Baixinha, which is 15 minutes away.

Avoid THIS unless you want to experience a prime example of how not to run a restaurant

The family went to eat and they left us quite neglected. They didn't clear our table and we asked for the dessert menu numerous times and they still ignored us.
The food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

The rice with seafood was spectacular and with a lot of fresh seafood and it was for 2 and we ate 4 repeating several times and it is located in a spectacular area with very good views of the beach, highly recommended.
