This restaurant has a top notch food with top notch service and a great ambience. This is 100 times better than one we tried two days ago near Faro Marina. The quantity is very good and quality as well. One must try “Saag Paneer” which the best in this region. Masala chai is also a must try. Request the friendly staff to add sugar when preparing the tea. All Naans and rice are good in quality and quantity. Overall great experience ?????
Food was incredibly delicious and the hospitality too. Would definitely recommend for those wanting to try traditional Indian food. Staff was also very welcoming and helpful.

We had an excellent meal with our brother in law and sister in law. The service and food was the best Indian we have had in the Algarve. Strongly recommend trying it, we'll definitely go there again when we return to the Algarve

Without doubt the best indian restaurant in the Algarve. I grew up in Bradford the curry capital of the UK and i can honestly say that the Royal is the next best thing to a good old Bradford curry. The lovely staff offer excellent service and make dining in the Royal a very pleasant experience. The restaurant has a loyal following by a regular crowd who appreciate this gem in Quinta do Lago.
We had another fantastic meal at The Royal Indian. Although the restaurant was incredibly busy, the service and standard of food were not compromised. The owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food is always of the highest quality. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Visited on New Years Eve with friends, table booked for 6.30pm. As we live in the area, we have used this restaurant previously and have enjoyed our visits. This time we were very disappointed, as we were told no deserts available, so we opted to have coffees, then told the coffee machine was broken, so we asked for the bill ( which took ages to come ) my husband wanted to pay by card, then was told the card machine was broken and asked to pay by cash, fortunately between our friends and ourselves we scraped together enough cash to pay our bill. Felt like they just wanted us out to release the table, even though when we booked there was no mention of a time restriction. We won’t be back. !

We always eat at fish restaurants in Portugal so this was such a great find. There was just the two us so we had the mix starter, changing the meat samosas to veggie ones as I don’t eat meat - all delicious. Then I had prawn bhuna and my friend had lamb rogan josh. We both really liked our meals which were very generous. Service was excellent and we would both go back in the future.
