Had an evening meal here on two occasions. On both occasions the food and service was good.
Had sardines and fillet steak. Both were cooked very well with good seasoning but the fillet steaks were truly excellent, the best we've had in a very, very long time.
Didn't have starters or desserts, so can only recommend on the main meals.

Ate here 3 times during our stay, all the meals were excellent. I wanted the fish kebab on 2 occasions but they didn't have any unfortunately. Had the pork chops twice and dorada. My husband had the mixed meat and grilled squid twice. Great to see veg and potatoes served instead of the obligatory salad. Good service.

The option was grilled squid and grilled salmon. The dishes were well presented and well prepared. Special emphasis on the vegetables that accompanied both dishes, due to their preparation and flavor. Friendly service.
I ordered roast cod and forgot to tell you that I didn't eat coriander and it was full of coriander. There are no problems with me, it was my fault for not asking. I ordered another dish, so far so good. The owner, who also said he was the chef, came to my table and got angry saying that all traditional cod recipes contain coriander. (I ate at many other Portuguese restaurants in Quarteira and none of them came) I also said that he would refuse to remove the coriander, and I didn't ask for it at any time, I paid for the other dish including the one that I didn't eat because it was my fault. My question . What is the need to come to my table wanting to try something about the recipe or not and still be rude as if I was forced to like coriander? Nice restaurant, super friendly staff but the owner is very arrogant and unprofessional, in fact, during our lunch we heard him shouting at the staff. Sorry but I needed to report this, the experience was unpleasant. They told me that he is the Agostinhos' brother, but their care for their brother doesn't even compare. I hope they improve

I simply loved this restaurant, I went with my girlfriend and everything went wonderfully, excellent food, friendly staff, everything was decorated beautifully, I really loved it, I completely recommend this restaurant for a trip for two and you will be super satisfied.

The chef (or cook as he insisted on calling himself) added an oyster sauce to the vegetable sauté (available in any supermarket) and said that it was a sauce that took 48 hours to prepare! He also said: “there are many haute cuisine chefs who come here asking for the recipe, but I don’t give it!” This man who knows nothing about cooking is ridiculous! Order some prawns al Guillo as a starter and you'll soon realize what I'm writing here... it's just fat... too bad to be true! In Quarteira, anywhere but this joint! If you like arrogance, this is the right place! If you like to eat well, avoid this place!
