We started lunch with Polvo, on the occasion of Polvo Week. Despite its considerable size, the preparation made it tender and tasty.The main courses were one based on cod and the other on monkfish... not cooked very well and with a lot of confusion (side dishes) around.We chose to have lunch outside and it was a tough fight with the flies.Price not modest.

Great welcome! The owners are super friendly as are the 2 waitresses who took care of us! I come back several times every time I'm in Quarteira! But here I was a little disappointed following my 2nd visit this September, we took 3 skewers of monkfish and prawns, quite frankly I'm not even sure it was monkfish and prawns, nothing to do with it with the previous times I think it was even frozen.... quite frankly a little disappointed with my last visit! This is why I am modifying my experience

The perfect meal with the perfect smiling waitress. The food was served in generous portions and tasted amazing. Maria Ines made our meal experience great with brilliant service and a smile on her face. Cant wait to visit again.

Food was excellent, and I got lucky to be served by the 2 nicest boys in the place, very attentive and polite. Overall a good experience from my end. Not giving 5 stars as the environment can be a bit loud and chaotic on \\\"rush hour\\\" and also be aware they don't accept any cards as payment.

Beware Cash Only We had a lovely family meal which food wise was excellent , but the service was shocking , every time you wanted something you had to wave at a group of 5 people masquerading as server's for help. The food was amazing but the chef is being let down by the staff and the manager on duty. When we asked for the bill we asked for the card machine standard practice in any country have we visited , the waiter said it's Cash only , I said I don't have any cash only my Apple Pay so he went to fetch a manager. She said no multi bank and pointed at a sign and said we shouldn't have ordered before reading. This is Portugal we don't take cards. The sign was 10cm x 10cm We went to the ATM and got the cash but the whole experience was ruined. I wouldn't go there again which is a shame as the food was good but the rest was rubbish €90 I wish I'd spent elsewhere. Note to owners , a lot of people don't carry cards any more as they use Apple / Google pay , luckily my wife had a card but I didn't , move with the times or be left behind and maybe treat a family of four with the respect they deserve not like criminals because you don't take cards

Nice atmosphere and pretty good food. The cataplana with seafood was good. Fish sticks were too fishy but pork chops were good. BUT…Not worth the wait. We ordered the same plate as some people that got there about 10 minutes after us and got it 20 minutes before us. Other people arrived even later and finished before we got our food. We waited at least an hour for the food.Overall, the employees were very disorganized,so if you come, come when it’s not crowded.
