We started lunch with Polvo, on the occasion of Polvo Week. Despite its considerable size, the preparation made it tender and tasty.The main courses were one based on cod and the other on monkfish... not cooked very well and with a lot of confusion (side dishes) around.We chose to have lunch outside and it was a tough fight with the flies.Price not modest.
Great welcome! The owners are super friendly as are the 2 waitresses who took care of us! I come back several times every time I'm in Quarteira! But here I was a little disappointed following my 2nd visit this September, we took 3 skewers of monkfish and prawns, quite frankly I'm not even sure it was monkfish and prawns, nothing to do with it with the previous times I think it was even frozen.... quite frankly a little disappointed with my last visit! The perfect meal with the perfect smiling waitress. The food was served in generous portions and tasted amazing. Maria Ines made our meal experience great with brilliant service and a smile on her face. Cant wait to visit again.
