Good restaurant, warm welcome, efficient service. Smiling staff.
I recommend the sole the dish was very tasty.
Nothing to add, everything excellent as always. The spider crab filling remains unparalleled, only as Fernando knows how to prepare it. The cuttlefish eggs are worth eating and crying for more. And the chocolate mousse continues to top the dessert

I just had an exceptional dining experience at Tico Tico Seafood Restaurant located in Quarteira, Portugal. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and courtesy reminiscent of the standards of Michelin-starred establishments. The attentive and professional staff were able to respond to our slightest needs with remarkable efficiency.
The cuisine, for its part, is simply sublime. The seafood dishes are prepared with perfect mastery, highlighting the freshness and quality of local products. Each bite is a true journey for the taste buds, with delicate flavors and careful presentations that demonstrate great culinary creativity.
The service is impeccable, fast-paced and discreet, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish. The sommelier's recommendations, finely adapted to our dish choices, also added a touch of excellence to our meal.
In summary, Tico Tico in Quarteira offers a gastronomic experience worthy of the greatest, where the quality of welcome, service and cuisine rivals the best Michelin-starred establishments. An essential address for all lovers of seafood and haute cuisine.
Thanks to the whole team .

Consistently excellent in every way. My favourite restaurant in the Algarve. The maitre d is a superstar. Everyone knows their job and gets on with it professionally. I was grateful for the Goose Barnacle Eating tutorial, and that we have never been up sold or over sold anything.
Minor gripe is that it closes between lunch and supper, otherwise I’d just spend the day there, trying different things.

SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS! Booked a table a week ago, to turn up to meet what seemed like the manager and told our name and he couldn’t find the booking, for him to then palm us off to his work colleague cause he saw his friend and rushed to greet them.
Left us with his colleague (lady) who barely spoke English. She finally found our booking once my daughter looked at their bookings book and put us on a table outside. We asked whether we could have a table inside because of the kids for her to say this table is the best and couldn’t understand why we wanted to move. Bear in mind the restaurant only had 2 table taken as it was 7pm. If it was the best table surely the other table you had inside would love to substitute their table for the ‘best’ table?!?
The lady then went back to the original guy who attended to us (the arrogant one, who’s friend were more important than actually providing the service he is paid to do!) and when she asked for his help in accommodating us his response was just tell them it’s not possible very rudely (not knowing we actually speak Portuguese too!).
Sad to say, service is basically non existent and if with a family of 8 who would spend around £500 they not willing to be friendly, respectful then we weren’t willing to accept this so we were speaking amoungst ourselves at potentially going elsewhere for the arrogant guy to say ‘if you want to go elsewhere you can’ that was the final straw. Don’t but in private conversations with your arrogant self! You are not superior to anyone no matter who you are!
Best of luck!

In the afternoon we wanted to reserve a table for 8 p.m. The receptionist said this was not possible and that we should come in the evening. We were there at 7:30 p.m. and all tables were reserved. The receptionist - the same one as in the afternoon - said that you always have to reserve a table... In other words, she probably didn't like our nose because we spoke to her in Portuguese. We could have easily done this in Spanish, English or German or even in the Swiss dialect. We will happily cross this restaurant off our list of dinner visits in Quarteira.
Excellent, perfect service and cuisine

Although the food was quite good (we ate sea bass and razor clam rice), the service was marked by a succession of lack of respect from one of the employees, which makes me not recommend this restaurant.
Between the friendliness of an employee from Nepal and a maid from Brazil, there was the arrogance and bad manners of a Portuguese man (at least he spoke good Portuguese), called Rodolfo.
He started by asking “calm down” when we were asking, in a very unempathetic way, for us to go at his (slow) pace.
In the midst of a sloppy attitude and little interest in our table throughout the entire dinner, the situation worsened when we drew attention to the lack of vegetables, to which this gentleman, in a totally rude and arrogant way, replied “nothing is missing” and added “they replaced the boiled potato and vegetables with French fries”, as if it were normal to exchange one potato for another and exclude the request for vegetables. It could be (for the restaurant), but we needed to have been told.
The last straw was when, at the end, I tried to give constructive feedback about the situation and you interrupted me and turned your back, with an air of superiority and disrespect like I don't remember ever seeing.
Unfortunately, from start to finish, he never showed a desire to listen to the customer, much less to apologize for the error and especially for the tone and way in which he handled things (on the contrary!).
Noisy, lacking attention and full of (poorly disguised) insecurity, he managed to transform a restaurant with good food and generally very friendly people into a tense and unpleasant place to dine.

You pay for a car for ridiculous amounts of money. We left the restaurant hungry!
The place is beautiful but there is too much noise.
The service is not what it used to be, we had to ask for certain things 3 or 4 times. A restaurant that was good but is no longer worth it.
