Loved this place. The atmosphere was incredible with live music and a very homely feel. The staff are very attentive and kind. The food was lovely and authentic; definitely freshly made. The chips especially were incredible. Prices were solid too, meals around €10 each and soft drinks were all around €2.50. We turned up without a booking and they were full so we booked for a future date, so definitely book in advance.
Had the chicken bitoque which I'd never had before but it was great.
Would definitely return and recommend.

Restaurant not to be missed. It is located in a quiet area, the quality dishes are generously served and the staff are lovely. We went there several times and were lucky enough to attend two live music evenings hosted by a talented singer named Ana. During our next stay in Portugal we will come back. Could not recommend this place enough it's honestly amazing!
Food was fresh and had plenty of variety of *traditional* Portugal food which we have found extremely hard to find in Vilamoura, with most places serving more traditional English food. Veggie options were available and signposted on the menu so easily accessible. Had a try of the burger and omelette (both very nice and served with a fresh salad and amazing fries) and a sharing board of bread, olives, carrots and fried potato to start. Also tried the "saw dust" for dessert which was also lush!
Service and staff was simply the best we have found too. All staff were lovely and made the time to chat and joke with us as a table. As mentioned the food was delicious but honestly this place wouldn't be what it is without the staff here. All spoke very good English so communication was easy as well.
Got the chance to experience live music with our meal as well which was very fun too! the guitarist was so good and played some absolute bangers. Setting was beautiful but the live music leveled up the atmosphere of this place as well.
Big shout out to everyone making this place what it is, if I was to recommend just one place to visit for drinks or food in Vilamoura this would be it by far. Hopefully we'll get the chance to visit again during our stay here in Portugal.
p.s I would definitely recommend booking a table in advance as we tried to eat here a few days prior and it was completely full (we can now see why!!!)

Four of us went for dinner because of the good reviews this restaurant has. The waiters were very friendly but nothing more. Short and simple letter. Very little food, poor quality-price ratio. And the worst thing was that it took them an hour to bring one of the dishes and an hour and a half to bring the rest. Not recommended at all.

Lovely little restaurant a bit out of the way from the normal biz but probably the best experience we've had in our 2 weeks in the area.
Busy but attentive staff. Family concern which is a bonus as they are genuinely trying to ensure a good experience.
Food was good, perhaps nothing exceptional but overall a good experience. Wish we'd discovered it before our penultimate night on holiday but will return next time.
