Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.

If you're not an acquaintance/friend of the owner, don't go.

All it takes is a friend arriving and the conditions are in place for things to go wrong.

I lost count of the times I went to this restaurant. I was waiting, on the street, for the table that was recommended to me. A friend arrived, came in, chatted, called the rest of the group and they were seated at the table assigned to us! Big ears told me with that smart boy smile that he would find another table.

I only regret the money I gave to this unprincipled man. All from the same farm. He and his friends also had no training and/or education.

I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food may be good, but the terrible experience and lack of respect for customers make the place completely unviable.

We paid over a €100 for 2 adults and a child, for the worst parts of meat of the animal… ox tail and cabrito. The service was quick but the price was more than exaggerated. €4 for a can of coke in these areas is ridiculous. €6 for a Farofia dessert (Lisbon: €1) is also way out of line. €6 for a ‘salad’ (lettuce, some tomato and oignon) is plainly a rip off, as this should’ve been part of the dish. Also €25 for white wine is astronomical in this area. The food was well cooked but the bill was overcooked. Better go to BOH grill in the same area, you’ll be served with top of the range meat, good service and a price that’s worth it.

The food was not bad but the service was terrible with no à la carte menu and therefore unclear prices and in fact in the end the bill was very expensive for the type of restaurant and its location. The bill was also wrong by almost 30 euros more obviously. Never again.

It is a MUST for all restaurants, but in this one there is no menu or price list!!! Account made by hand, with errors in the sum. Non-detailed global invoice. Food below average in equivalent places. Terrible wine list, but it includes some wines for €150 and €600!!!

We were not given a menu, we were told the dishes of the day verbally and when we asked for it, the waiter's displeasure was visible. Oven-roasted kid and chanfana were the choices and the chanfana was very salty. When it was time for coffee, I asked for a glass of water to take the medication and a bottle of water was almost forcefully forced onto me. It was only after the third time of pointing out that I don't like bottled water that I managed to get a glass of tap water served to me. The invoice was charged for a half-liter Coca Cola but I was served a 330ml can. Experience not to be repeated because the price/quality ratio was not convincing. Lunch on 01/01/2024
