One of the best treasures in Queijas, 5* service. The smell as soon as you enter promised a good meal. The staff is very attentive, and I liked being warned that this would be the last bottle of the wine chosen. The rabbit was good, but the partridge rice was a disaster. The aroma, the texture of the rice, the flavor of herbs... everything was very well balanced and I would venture to say that it was one of the best rice dishes I've ever tasted. It takes 30 minutes to make because it is made inside an iron pot surrounded by “fire”. It is recommended that anyone who discovers this treasure only share it with true diners and lovers of good food. To finish off, a chocolate and caramel cake that was very good too. Very fair price and quality, I hope it stays that way.

Fantastic!!! Surely there are no 6 hours like this. Homemade but delicious food, desserts, which I never eat, I only try from time to time, extraordinary! Top staff.

Little friendliness in service. When we arrived they asked if we had a reservation and they made it difficult when there were several free tables. In short, we just had lunch and the tables were still free.

We can try signature food without having to pay exorbitant prices. Everything was superb, right down to the starters (we opted for a divine liver that even the most skeptical will want to try, some sardines and rind - yes, rind on bread!). Then the main dishes include razor clam rice with a very good balance of flavors and dried meat rice, prepared and served in an iron pan that takes us back to the village. Everything was very well made. In the end, we finished with the best sponge cake we've ever tasted (although technically it's not "bread", due to the absence of flour, but which, I guarantee, will stay in your memory for a long time. We also tried the pavlova which was equally passed the test. The friendliness of the staff is fantastic. The Chef is a simple person but with fantastic attributes for the kitchen. This meal would easily be worth a fortune in a gourmet restaurant, but in this place we found it to be an excellent value for money. You know, it's an itinerary to be repeated soon. Only the wine list is a little sparse, including only 1 choice for 1/2 bottle of red.
