It's been a while since I've dined here. I had friends staying in West Hollywood and wanted a nice dining experience, one other spot I was thinking of is closed on Sundays....so glad they were. There were three of us and we like to dine family style and share everything. We started with the octopus, absolutely delicious......also enjoyed the beet salad, a gluten free penne with bolognese....they're version of bolognese a bit different than the classic....wasn't a red sauce, still amazing. Our main entree was the sea bass for two.....when it came out to the table, wow! beautiful presentation .....they deboned it at the table. Coctails and wine were lovely. Everything we had we thoroughly enjoyed. Sad to hear they will be closing this location at the end of the month! I'm going to try and go back for brunch. They still have a great Vegas location which I tried more than 10 years ago and the NYC location.....super fun spot too! Super friendly staff and fabulous food! Highly recommended! Try and get into the WeHo location before they close.

Loved our dinner at Lavo, went for an anniversary dinner and they made it so welcoming. The staff congratulated us throughout the night and even threw in a complimentary ice cream with happy anniversary on it. Service was exceptional, super friendly staff who were honest about their favorite menu items. The carbonara was excellent, real good smoke flavor from the bacon on the noodles were delicious. We got the vodka pepperoni and it was a little thin, + the sauce wasn't our favorite. Ambiance was great and would definitely come again, maybe just stick with the pasta because it was delicious!

Had dinner at LAVO in LA and this place is definitely all about the vibes. The ambiance, the music, and the desserts were the highlight. We had the garlic bread with three sauces, the salmon, the mushroom & truffle ravioli, and their famous tiramisu. Food is decent for the price, but the real standout here is the overall vibe and the dessert. If you're looking for a fun night out with great ambiance, LAVO is a solid pick.

First time here. The food was excellent with the exception of the zucchini florettes which I would pass on. Our server was less than attentive and I had to ask for kore water more than once. The hostesses could use a little attitude adjustment, but I think it's just an age thing that younger staff often look down upon older patrons. Overall, the visit was enjoyable, even with the staffing issues..

Our server was incredible! He was attentive, provided great suggestions, and was very knowledgable about the menu. He even brought out group a champagne toast since we were celebrating. The food was also delicious, and the mushroom naked ravioli was to die for.

Good food and great service. We were a party of 5 and we did a "family style" dinner and it was plenty of food for all of us. We really love LAVO and Mike was a great waiter.

I really enjoyed dining here, I was a bit bummed because we were seated at the bar area rather than the restaurant area where I had seen the beautiful pictures that drew me here in the first place. However the food was amazing & the service was exceptional. Will definitely come again!
Lovely atmosphere and cheerful service. Difficult to read menu with dim lighting and I wish side dishes were offered. Food was tasty but definitely lacking in presentation.

We had the tartare which was very good. We also had the verde salad and the branzino. The 20 layer chocolate cake was good but too big, one bite would have been enough

I had an Amazing experience, I came for my birthday, & would recommend this place to anyone for a birthday, anniversary or celebration, even just a great date/ night out. They had best food 10/10, im a very picky eater so that speaks volume. Great music playlist they had. Restaurant gave fancy, cutesy vibes. All the employees were so generous, sweet and go above and beyond. Our waitress was the lovelies girl i forget her name but she looked white, blond, blue shirt, beige vest with a tie. She was so accommodating and helped us so much with the menu as first comers. Again love the vibe, food, music, style and employees. Coming back in 2 months i cant wait! Recommending this place to any and everyone, Thank you so much Lavo!

First time there and have ZERO interest in going back. The whole experience felt like a joke. Service was slow. Cocktails took 25 minutes to arrive and were overpriced. Appetizers and mains were ordered together. Apps were ok. Solid but not mind blowing. Mains then took another 40 minutes to arrive (despite ordering with apps) and 4 out of the 7 dishes ordered were cold. They couldn't remake 3 of the 4 meals as they had run out of ingredients. None of the food was exciting and everything lacked salt. We ordered 4 desserts—much better than the food—but it also took over half hour to come out. Wayyyyy too long for desserts that were supposed to be served cold and or room temperature and pre-cooked. Paid the bill but they overcharged the card by $45... To top it off the manager did not attempt to make it a more pleasant experience or even apologize and kept making excuses and indicated problems in the kitchen... the whole experience was disappointing, frustrating and not enjoyable. I know I won't be going back
