About 3 weeks ago I went to have lunch with my Father at this restaurant, we arrived at 2:20 pm, we went in, I asked if we could sit at a table that was free (there were a lot of people still eating), to which the waiter stared to me as if I were doing something wrong, he asks me... SIT FOR WHAT??, to which I respond "To eat...", TO EAT?? THIS IS NO LONGER TIME!!, the employee replied rudely.... Realizing the situation, my Father replies, if it's not time yet, then let's go... The waiter tried to change his attitude and told us to sit down, that we could still eat. We ordered some sardines for my Dad and an Alheira for me... I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and I heard the waiter passing the order to the kitchen, where a lady answered... SARDINES AT THIS TIME??? TELL HIM THERE ARE NO POTATOES AND I WON'T START PEELING POTATOES AT THIS TIME... We are informed that there are no more potatoes, but as I had heard the conversation, I ask, are there no more or no desire to peel them?? the waiter laughed and went back to the kitchen... At the end the sardines came with salad. But mysteriously my alheira came with fries and rice...
Conclusion, the food is not bad, but the service in our case was terrible, we felt at all times that we were inconveniencing
If the kitchen closes at a certain time, all you have to do is inform the customer POLITELY....
Obviously I will not return nor recommend it.

I was passing through these parts (Queluz, next to Firefighters) and it was time for lunch and I looked for restaurants in that area that had Portuguese cuisine, as I was already craving this dish. I accidentally saw this Stalone Restaurant where their dish of the day was Portuguese stew. I went in and ordered this delicious dish that I love so much and I enjoyed it, it was really good!!!Do you only cook on Thursdays?I recommend

I've had lunch there a lot in the past, but recently the service has deteriorated.The food is good, homemade, I can't fault that. Excellent stew, francesinha, veal chop, etc...The problem really is the service, courtesy of the depressed employee, not the manager, he seems to have his head elsewhere, he doesn't miss an opportunity to go smoke outside the restaurant.Attention is more focused on regular customers or those who shout the loudest to attract attention and be served.It's uncomfortable trying to attract attention, several times I left without having dessert or coffee because I was already digesting.

Terrible service, I arrived for dinner, there were just over 10 people, I entered a couple who weren't even attended to, maybe tired of waiting, which the ae came to confirm with me, I sat down 5 minutes later no one came to my table, the employee looked at me the table left with hands in pockets to go outside to smoke. I got up and left. Lousy restaurant.
