Five of us just spontaneously went to Mar Essen. We came without a reservation. Nevertheless, we were kindly given a table. The Portuguese map was presented to us in a very inviting way. What's pleasant is that you can freely choose and combine different dishes, tapas and burgers (very good for our 3 daughters). The food was very tasty, the service was attentive and flexible and we were very satisfied. The visit is worth it!

The starters were amazing. We asked for premium meat (tábua Atlântida) but it was a bit overcooked and without enough fat. For desert, we order lime cheesecake. The flavour was good but the texture was not as it should be.
