Lovely authentic Portuguese restaurant. Friendly, welcoming & professional staff. Quality food, lovingly prepared & well presented. By the end of the eve, this restaurant was full, on a Saturday night in February with Portuguese people - speaks for itself. A must visit, a short walk from centre of town.
We visited the restaurant several years ago and had a high reputation for good quality food at a reasonable price. Our waiter told us the restaurant has been under new management for the past year and clearly had been remodeled and aiming for a different clientele. Our group of 3 Portuguese had high expectations. We have been to Pereira three times during our stay in Cascais. We have greatly enjoyed the quality of food presented. The flavors are simple but still more sophisticated than the typical restaurant in Cascais. We ordered the fava beans and sausage as an appetizer -- amazing! We had the pork shoulder and enjoyed every bite. We fought over the leftover of the veal stew the next day and it did not disappoint. There has not been a dish that we did not love.
