Loved the ambiance and the playlist. Food was mediocre. Was not impressed. The assigned waiter showed the worst level of customer service possible but we shared this experience with the head waiter and he did try to rectify the situation. I would return for a drink and music.

Positive point it was open at 6. Everything else was terrible. He didn't explain clearly that you have to choose a meat and assumed that you didn't want meat. So he only added 3 ingredients when he charges you 4. If I tell him that it's my fault for not knowing, he didn't give the option to change. The potatoes tasted like days old refried oil. And my friend who ordered a vegetable, the olives were spoiled, acidic. He denied everything, treated us like fools. And he said he opened the container this morning. We pay the same and worst of all they have a sign that says cash only. You really have to guess everything.
Vegetarian options: Is there the posibility. I prefer an apple.
Awesome pizza and the owner was great!! As a fellow Canadian, we shared lots of stories. The hospitality and food was great. Wish they made pizza like that in our neighbourhood back home.

Visiting the island and after a long day of exploring, stopped at the grocery store but were too tired to cook. We lucked out and chose to go to Boteco do Miguel. The owner was very friendly and spoke English very well. The pizza was very good, certainly the best we have had for years. We were going to take it to go, but decided to eat in, which was a good decision. It was excellent fresh from the oven. We will make it a priority to go back before we leave to go home. The free parking lot across the street (enter from the back) made it super easy to stop and eat.

The food is outstanding. Everything from the garlic bread to the customizable pizzas is world-class. The location is really convenient for those with kids. Nice garden atmosphere. This is my favorite place to eat on the entire island.

Went here for late lunch based on reviews and we were not disappointed! Friendly & warm service, freshly made pizza (with the most delicious thin crust) and a very cute area! When we asked for meter change, we were instantly directed to super close free parking which was a bonus! Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to go here!
