“Visiting the island and after a long day of exploring, stopped at the grocery store but were too tired to cook. We lucked out and chose to go to Boteco do Miguel. The owner was very friendly and spoke English very well. The pizza was very good, certainly the best we have had for years. We were going to take it to go, but decided to eat in, which was a good decision. It was excellent fresh from the oven. We will make it a priority to go back before we leave to go home. The free parking lot across the street (enter from the back) made it super easy to stop and eat.

“Family dinner with the aim of eating the roasted octopus that my father and uncle loved. But we were too late and there was no more. We opted for snacks and what snacks. “It's a hole in the wall, but adorable. Pizza was good, but if you're an American, don't order sausage because it's Vienna sausage. The regional stake was great. “Manuel Flor restaurant is a must do when in Ribeira Grande. The roasted chicken is a must have, with the hot sauce (not a killler hot but just right). Staff were super friendly, service was quick and they offered great recommendations. Must have the local beer ESPECIAL! Located near the town square its location is central!!“
