It's mainly the locals who eat here, and less the tourists. Because you have to know where it is. However, if you love meat, you will find one of the best meat restaurants on the island. It is located on an agricultural facility, so actually right at the source... Most of the meat pieces are 300 grams in size and can be chosen in three different quality levels.
There are also various homemade sauces, for example inspirations with pepper or cheese.
The restaurant is very popular, you can either reserve directly or have yourself added to the list on site.
The portions are quite generous and the matching wines are also on offer. So, when you are in Sao Miguel, you should visit this restaurant if you love meat. (Fine tuna is also available)

I give 4 stars because it took them a long time to serve two cappuccinos, anyway they were good. The prices are somewhat high, but we will return to try the meat

The restaurant was much larger than expected and we were the only tourist there. All the other patrons were locals (usually a good sign).
The service was decent and the food was good. We really can’t complain about the visit. Good food, large portions and decent prices. It does take a car to get there.

Simply spectacular.
We arrived and there were people waiting, we thought it would take a long time to catch us, but it didn't take more than 15 minutes. The waiter was very professional and the waiters were attentive and very effective.
They recommended us well and the food came out very quickly.
The meat is very good.

We ate as a large group and very well. Food organization with only one recommendation, it seems that the point of the meat is overcooked, ask for the point less done than what you like or 2 points. Because it is a shame that the quality of the product is not appreciated.

For me it is an overrated site. The food is good, as I mostly know how in Portugal (very good). The problem is the slowness of the service and its forms. It took more than 40 minutes to serve us two dishes and the price, compared to other alternatives, is not cheap. There are several types of meat, the one we got is very hard and full of tendons, however, the sauce is very good. As I said, in my opinion, very overrated.

An hour of waiting, and the good quality meat is presented to you cold. Very expensive and the atmosphere of the place for what you pay is terrible
