Worse would be impossible. We caught gastroenteritis as a result of this.
Very bad service in which the employees don't know how to describe a fish to people who don't know the local cuisine. Moving tables and chairs while there are people in the dining room seemed like a very rude way of asking us to leave. For the €53 we paid, we expected greater quality and attention to the hygiene and freshness of the fish. Never again.

Arrived in Ribeira Grande yesterday and quickly found something very good for dinner. It is superbly decorated in the Azores style. The food (fish) was very tasty. It's a fish restaurant, but it doesn't smell like fish at all, which is a very good sign of quality. The house is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The wine recommendation was also very appropriate. And by the way, you pay humane prices for the wine and not five times as much as in Germany.

They put Sao Jorge cheese with exquisite jams.
