Arrived in Ribeira Grande yesterday and quickly found something very good for dinner. It is superbly decorated in the Azores style. The food (fish) was very tasty. It's a fish restaurant, but it doesn't smell like fish at all, which is a very good sign of quality. The house is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The wine recommendation was also very appropriate. And by the way, you pay humane prices for the wine and not five times as much...
Ate a lot of seafood while on Sao Miguel and Monte Verde was near the top. Fresh fish and helpful staff in a bright and relaxed environment. Would highly recommend.
