Since we just wanted something to drink, we were put in the second row, even though there were free tables right by the sea. Furthermore, the service seemed very annoyed and rude. Apart from water and beer there was nothing that day

My family loved the location: we watched the waves from the „first row“, so to say. We had the daily fish (seabream), it was really good. Our friend had the omelets, she was happy. Sangrias good. But then when we wanted cakes a very unfriendly waitress came (until then we were served by a bit toothless but friendly guy) and in a very unfriendly way said no cakes and then in a very unfriendly way we got our coffees. I was kind of baffled by that. The bill was very high compare to other places.

We stopped for lunch after walking round the headland. We sat by the sea with a beautiful view across the bay. The steak sandwich (with egg) was wonderful. The service was friendly and efficient. A very memorable lunch

Great atmosphere right by the sea. High waves. Whole family was happy with the meal; Excellent tomato and onion soup with egg (had to be seasoned a little). My wife ate very good lapas (limpets). We will be back.

It was completely by chance that I came across this little restaurant by the sea, but as they say: chance makes things work.The setting, while remaining intimate, is exceptional, with a breathtaking view of the bay of Porto Da Cruz and the sea rolling its pebbles, right under your nose.The cuisine is not to be outdone, with unpretentious dishes, but which seduce with their freshness and flavors.

We had reservations before sitting down because of the low review and our previous bad experience with Portuguese restaurants, but we had to eat somewhere and the view of the ocean was fantastic. We were very pleasantly surprised - we had our best meal in Madeira here - the grilled fish was simply wonderful, as well as the most delicious bolo do caco bread we tried! The prices are better than in Funchal, as are the portion sizes. Our waitress was also smiling and kind. I recommend!

The food is even passable, but the service is unfortunately not at a good level. We ate at a table outside, so maybe that's why the wait for our order took over half an hour. I will add that there were not many guests. We didn't get salt or a set of spices. We had to get them ourselves from other tables. Bill for two people 63 euros for two fish of the day with starters.
