The food is average, acceptable - but the choices are more based on "strong" meat. The restaurant is very large and noisy - on the weekend, if it gets closer to 2pm, there are no great menu options.
It has a variety of desserts and the staff are friendly.
During the week they serve daily rates.
Despite the lack of comfort when sitting at the table, the rest of the restaurant made up for it. The server translated many things and tried her very best despite not knowing a single word of English (due to the fact that we aren’t capable of talking Portuguese or French the server is not at fault) The food was served within 10-20 minutes and was better than expected. For a restaurant in a small town with nearly no tourists, it’s definitely worth trying.

Do ask the locals how to get here as it's off the main road down the village lanes although there are restaurant signs indicating where to go. Trimming the growth around the signs would certainly improve the signage..Apart from this and once you get to here, it's certainly a huge dining area inside. It has lots of tables and also an outdoors covered porch at the back with seating area for those that want to smoke and have a drink as well...The staff are very welcoming, very friendly, helpful and attentive. All the "dishes of the day" are explained and their busiest period is lunchtime!Food is served at night albeit a less extensive selection than the lunchtime "dishes of the day" choices. It's a family owned restaurant and the food is real Portuguese cuisine... tasty, lovely traditional food. Where can you eat an all inclusive 3 course meal (and drinks) for €10/12 euros per person!!Really good value and service most definitely...A big thank you Lady/Dona Manuela, the owner and Chef as well as her team for such a great experience and visit.
Parking: Has it's own restaurant parking lot
Kid-friendliness: They do wedding and birthday functions
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access inside although somewhat challenging from the outside to the entrance

I went to the feijoada and received 1 bunch of olive pits inside, I didn't complain and asked for a change, always with the friendliness of the employees except the "boss" and it was a disaster when it came time to pay.... of course we won't go back €10 a night because you can't complain about what's cheap...Have a good holiday and rest your head because as the manager of the restaurant you don't deserve what you get...be kind
