Prego was a pleasant surprise since the first time I tried it, about 18 years ago. Whenever I return to Portugal I leave a little time aside to taste this national delicacy! The Rui dos Pregos chain never disappoints!

Good afternoon Mr. Rui is lucky to have a Miguel and another taller boy there who are 100% attentive, friendly and human because of that, there isn't much left without undoing the entire team of cooks and assistants, but as I say, the great Miguel seems like the The team's goalkeeper handles all the activity in the restaurant well, but the other guy deserved a bonus.

I've visited this place 2/3 times and I'll certainly go back. Fast service, friendly staff and 5* food I really like the prego in the egg dish, it’s always on point.

For the octopus in the mill, it's not worth the trip.
05/20/2024 We ordered for lunch: Veal Ragu+Fries+White Rice. Desserts: Biscuit Cake + Red Fruit Cheesecake. The Ragu dose is well served in terms of quantity, but there is one drawback: the pieces of meat and chorizo are cut very coarsely and the meat is a little tough. The French fries on a stick are great (they are not frozen); the white rice is very good. The desserts are very good, but we found them very expensive. Packaging (plastic) also needs to be changed, due to the environmental impact. Thank you very much and we will definitely be back. Gonçalo dos Santos

I found the food to have very little flavor, unlike what happens in other Rui dos Pregos. The staff (not all of them, but the vast majority) seem little interested in serving and more interested in socializing among themselves at the counter with the house at around 70% full. We ordered a dessert and another one came.

I obviously recommend the prego na dish, which is great.
As for the service, it is generally friendly and helpful.
However, I didn't like the reception on my last visit, because upon arriving, one of the employees (head of staff apparently) promptly told me that there were no tables, and made me understand that it wasn't worth waiting because it would take a while. But I had already seen that there were people drinking coffee and I waited... curiously the table became free a few minutes later. I found the attitude very unprofessional because this employee is driving away customers with this type of attitude... that's why I won't be going there anytime soon
