We went from Gaia to Rio Meao because they told us about this restaurant with Madeiran food. The only thing that's Madeiran is the decoration. Of traditional Madeira dishes, nothing. For example, the famous kebab only to order and for 4 people. We ended up ordering the prego em bolo do caco, which I classify as banal. There are cafes in Gaia or Porto where they serve these sandwiches with better quality. Not worth the trip. I do not recommend.

We ate francesinha with bolo de caco, which was a different and good option. What I saw is that they serve it with a small amount of sauce, but I noticed several tables that ask for and get more sauce. It has a parking lot.
