Delicious traditional food. My wife had the bacalhau de nata (cod in potatoes and cream) and I had the pork Alentejana (pork bites with veg and clams). Both were delicious. The pork had pickled veg and a dusting of cilantro. House red wine (1/2 litre), bread, olives, two coffees. About 22 Euro. These plates were the daily specials. Side salad came pre-oiled and vinegared, so if that's not your thing then let them know. Owners speak English. Jazz in the background. Cozy decor. Kind staff. Will definitely return when we're in the area.
It's a nice little place with a nice little garden at the side. There is a lovely cat called Cindy who wants to cuddle all the time.

We had a great night at this restaurant. As a group of ten friends we had the perfect location to dine, outside under an old olive tree. The food was good, we enjoyed the seafood rice, the pulled pork with salad and the prawns. The house wind was very drinkable, and we ordered the 1-litre jug. Excellent service. The menu changes daily.
FFinally we found one ? ' in the midlle of nowhere' !!! Pefect open, house wine, tapas, and the kindness of the host!!! A new, pleasant experience!!! I highly recommend it if you like pleasant surprises.
Super friendly people, good service, snacks to eat and cry for more.
Great.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time today. We were impressed. We sat in the shady secluded garden and enjoyed some good food and wine. We had a little light jazz in the background which was a perfect choice to complete the experience. The husband and wife hosts were very friendly. If you are visiting the caves nearby (there are several and are quite spectacular). this is a perfect place to have lunch. Prices are very reasonable. Give it a try
New owners have just opened the place 2wks ago. They were really kind to us (and their small children were fun to watch?). They have a menu for the day, but they are fully flexible in case of allerges and when small children are part of the group. The food tasted great (the fries where even hand cut!). The inside of the restaurant is maybe a bit outdated, but we sat outside in a cosy area. Food is not too expensive as well. We had a great time overall.
Friendly nice people will cook rustic and portuguese
