A place to eat fish where people can select what they want before sitting down in the restaurant, as the fish is available right at the entrance.
The place is not big so it is advisable to book
The meal did not disappoint, in our case we went for squid and cuttlefish, which were excellent. Grilled roe starter, also good. Friendly and pleasant service.
They accept cards. car park nearby.

Very good place for lunch or dinner, amazing food, great atmosphere

This Sunday lunch my visit was to the Restaurante Solar do Peixe by Sofia in Sacavem. As we enter, we are greeted by a display filled with Fresh Fish and a board with the price.
We both have fish priced by the portion and fish sold by the kg. But to begin with, there was a Basket of good Bread, Olives, Sicó Dry Cheese and an Octopus Salad, seasoned to our liking. For main I ordered a serving of Sea Bass for €12.90 which comes accompanied by Potato and another side dish of your choice which in my case was Sauteed Green Caldo with Cornbread. The fish is fresh, tasty and well grilled. I finished with a very good and generous homemade Chocolate Mousse. All this was accompanied by White Wine from Casa Meia Encosta in the DíO region with great price/quality.
Friendly and very efficient service.
Meal around €25 per person. Without a doubt, a great option for those who want to eat Grilled Fish outside of tourist areas.
