2 Portugese, 1 inexperienced English Fish eater and a Vegan. All had a wonderful time and great food we went 3 times in one week. Food was fresh, delicious, plentiful and the vegan ate three different meals. The owner was great at offering additional meals and the whole team were attentive and friendly. Great value for money!
I was with my 90 year old mother and we decided to stop at this roadside restaurant. Its not on the beach, nor does it have a sea view in this beach Paradise - in fact it doesn't look like much at all from the road. We decided to stop and are delighted that we did. The staff was delightful. The owner takes the time to come out and check on everything and have a chat. The portions were very substantial and the food was delicious!!! Arroz de Tamboril - super fresh and flavourful! This is a must visit!
Coming back from the sunset in Sabres in a very windy evening, we stopped here and we found kind people and very good food. Tried the codfish in cream (Baccalà alla besciamella) and was very tasty. The Creamcaramel, then, was perfect.
QUITE , RELAX AND FABULOUS ALGARVE STYLE MEAL FOR AFFORDABLE PRICES !!!
Had Monkfish Rice (2 persons minimum). Fish is so tender, served the cheapest for this menu in town. The portion is really big. No need to order an extra dish (we had one mixed salad to share).Had to come back again to have this dish two days later. Super nice staff and very relaxing atmosphere.
Love the grilled fish. I could eat it every day.
We can't say much more than the other positive rave reviews of this restaurant. My wife had a simple tuna salad -- slightly different than Nicoise but excellent. I had grilled sea bass that was spectacular. The restaurant is on rte 268 on the right as you enter Sagres. A most enjoyable, relaxing and delicious lunch. If you are travelling that way, don't miss it.
Very tasty food and for good price.
Loved it. Friendly family run restaurant. The grilled sea bass and the seafood rice were excellent.
We stumbled upon thise fine restaurant on a wet windy day. The owner was very friendly and chatty and the place is very clean an unpretentious. We opted for the fish stew which was delicious and freshly cooked, meant for but plenty enough for 3 or even 4! A nice bottle of house redb and 2 coffees all for a very reasonable price. If we are ever back in Sagres we'll go there for the true home cooking. Thank you!

Enjoyed delicous meal here. Owner kind of different. Enjoyed our stay and met a fellow expac. We're from the states so we didn't know we couldn't bring in our bottled water of put our tired feet on the chair. My sis has a leg disorder and needs to keep it elevated at times. oh well....
We wanted to eat here as a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We waited for a table and were told the restaurant is 'about to close' at 4pm. This was an obvious lie, we did not really understand if they did not want to serve us because of the kids, because we are foreign or due to the group size.Overall a very bad experience, avoid this restaurant if ever in Sagres.
It will become my favorite restaurant in Sagres! I could try three different dishes all of them superb! I highly recommend this restaurant d for the fresh and genuine food and the kindness of the service!
Nice Seafood rice (arroz de marisco). Very friendly staff.
It was unforgettable impression! After visit to Cabo de San Vicente we stayed spontaneously here. Fantastic meals from Chef! Very delicious cuisine! It values bigger money, but perfect service is invaluable! Muito obrigada!
