“The staff is very friendly and gives good advice. Each dish is made with fresh, quality products. Generous dishes!
We tasted the fish and the meat: both were really great.
For dessert: Special mention for the limencello almond tart (which is also gluten-free).
If you go to Sagres: you have to stop here for a culinary stopover!

“Large indoor dining room, plus ample parking and also has a terrace but with the air that we got into our bodies visiting the fortress we preferred to eat inside.

We tried the fish soup, the legume cream, garlic prawns and mackerel salad (all very delicious) and to finish we tasted the octopus rice that came with a bunch of cilantro on top that gave too much of its flavor to the food and It spoiled it a bit (the quantity and price were very good, yes).

We took 1 bottle of wine, 2 of water, 4 beiraos and 3 coffees to pay 30 eur x four full stomachs.“

“We had dinner there whilst on holiday. It's a very nice family run restaurant. We all loved our food. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked as requested (medium rare) and was one of the best ones I have ever had.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
They produce their own wine, we bought two bottles to take with us.

Great service, great food, nice and clean restaurant plus very reasonable prices! If you are in Sagres Portugal, this is a great choice! And well worth the trip if you are in the area!“

“The atmosphere was simply magnificent on the terrace. We ordered a paella with shrimp, potatoes, there were other fruits, small mussels. It was really, really delicious. It was perfect for our afternoon in the sun on the terrace. So, we really had a good time.“

“We didn't read other reviews when it came time to eat there, we ruled it out because we didn't expect much from a small beach bar, to be honest. But when it was time to go up the stairs to eat in the restaurant above, we ran into another couple who came out saying that they had eaten quite well, and the truth is that we did well to listen to them. The chicken was very good (the griller made a very very successful sauce of his own), and we also ordered a shrimp omelette that was also quite good. So we consider it a success... neither going up the stairs and then wanting to continue on the beach, nor what we would have paid more upstairs (which I don't doubt will be worth paying attention to). Service of course also very good. We would repeat without a doubt.“

“Grill restaurant with local and fresh products. Very good quality meats, not to mention the fish and the small market they have right when you enter the restaurant. You ensure fresh fish of the day cooked on the grill. Very attentive and helpful service looking for solutions so that the wait is minimal before sitting down.
The decoration is quite faithful to Portuguese traditions.

From the dishes: starter with grilled chorizo, to eat: delicious frango, the camarao skewer a delight and the meat spectacular. We tried rib eye with pepper sauce, spectacular. Perhaps it could have been accompanied on the plate but to put something to improve.
And we chose red wine from Alentejo, with a pretty good quality-price ratio.
It's not the first time we came but it won't be the last either!“

“Authentic fish restaurant. You want to eat excellent fresh and grilled fish, it’s here! This is the second time we have come back in 5 years. Still so good! Be careful, the address is much better known than before... The wait is possible but worth it.“

“We were very satisfied - we were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and when a larger table became available after we ordered, it was immediately offered to us and cleaned. The location is great, there is parking right in front of it and the view of the sea and the beach is very, very nice. There are no other buildings in between and you look directly at the sea.
We particularly liked the friendly service and the delicious and fresh juices. We ordered burgers, they came quickly and were delicious. Since they were eaten so quickly, no photos were taken :)

“I was from Caba de Saovicente and had lunch here. All serves of foods are great especially the dessert. I’m so in love with it, the almond ice cream. The service is great soft and gentle. Also the view of the restaurant is panoramic of the Atlantic ocean. Apart from a salty food all here are great! I would recommend this place for all travelers.“

“Great restaurant, excellent and friendly warm-hearted service with passion and very tasty local food - no matter if you like seafood or meat - we had grilled squid, steak a la Casa with creamy sauce, mushrooms and crispy potatoes and the traditional rice with seafood in a massive pot with a variation and lots of tasty seafood including the necessary cutlery :) ??? - it is worth a visit! Try the house wine as well as the cafe and galão and should you have space left try the desserts and tasty ice cream. As starter try the warm bread with pate and olives ?? we had a tasty and relaxed evening here - thanks a lot to the amazing team!“

“Be careful what you ask for.The grilled vegetables are like a golden cod but without cod and they fill it with onion... Take care...Also the grilled cuttlefish, it's more of a battered nugget than anything else. They charge you for everything... Almost even for breathing.I leave it there... You will see...“
