We insisted to know if it would be enough for 2 and he said yes. When they brought us a dwarf sole the size of the palm of a hand cut in half, we asked another waitress who told us that we should have asked about the weight of the sole, to which we responded that we specified that it was for 2 people. Her response was that she had not attended to us, finally a third waiter appears and answers that they only have fish for one person, so why aren't we informed before???

The staff is very friendly and gives good advice. Each dish is made with fresh, quality products. Generous dishes! We tasted the fish and the meat: both were really great. For dessert: Special mention for the limencello almond tart (which is also gluten-free). If you go to Sagres: you have to stop here for a culinary stopover!
We recommend. Starters top. We chose the rabbit dish and were not disappointed. It was very delicious. Wines at humane prices. Ambience very nice, service attentive.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to on vacation. The food is excellent as are the drinks. The service is extremely friendly. It's nice to sit in a small winter garden or outside in the garden or inside. Everything was perfect there that day. It's very worth it Go there. Price very reasonable.

We had a great evening at Vila Velha. The food was delicious and high quality. There is the option of sitting in the restaurant, in a kind of winter garden and on a covered terrace. The service was very friendly and unobtrusive. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The menu includes different languages and vegetarian and vegan options. There was also fresh fish which was not mentioned on the menu but was presented as a recommendation from the house.

Fantastic fresh fish and quality food, although rather expensive as opposed to other dinners we had, but the taste was worth it, especially for their daily specials! We dined here after watching the sunset from the old lighthouse, so it’s a good place to stop at for a nice meal!

The personnel are super kind and attentive, and the food is delicious. I tried their fresh handmade bread, their olives and the tuna with peppers, choriço and prawns. A bit more expensive than the rest of the restaurants in the area but totally worth it!
