It is a small and typical tavern. The staff is young and kind. We booked and they made us sit at a table behind the door, a little uncomfortable given the comings and goings and the door that kept banging on the chair. We ordered the Portuguese cod, very salty, the lamb good and two other meat dishes, one very tough. Overall many dishes difficult to eat. Two out of five people were sick all night with indigestion. Lots of flies.

Didn’t have vegetarian options but did us a custom made vegetarian plate with assorted veggies! The meat was good but it didn’t come hot! It came quite on the cold side!

Wonderful place!
We could not be more grateful to Lino and his team for the treatment they gave us. We had a problem with the van and they helped us with everything. The food is delicious. Good people, we were very lucky. We will return to this Aldeia de Lobos and its festivities.

Restaurant in the middle of the Peneda Gerês National Park, where nature, fresh air and peace are king. Good food, an excellent steak, a good welcome, and an excellent French toast for dessert. I definitely recommend it ?
