This restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful and authentic areas in São Miguel - Nordeste. It's specifically in the village of Salga and the view is beautiful! In August we can even see the sunset. The owners are very friendly and kind and their specialty is a very tasty traditional Azorean pizza made in a wood-fired oven - just so you know, traditional Azorean pizza has a slightly thicker crust (influenced by pizza from the USA) than traditional Italian romana pizza. This is due to the fact that Azorean history is closely linked to the USA, since many Azoreans emigrated there in the 20th century and many exchanges took place. I totally recommend this place!
