“Good food although somewhat expensive. Giant place so it is very rare to go for lunch or dinner and not have a seat.
I ordered "uma dose", the waiter told me that it was a lot of food but it differed €2 from the "1/2 dose", finally I finished the entire meal without getting completely full?”

We have never experienced such wonderfully authentic Indian food before - the flavours were on a different level.

It is so far removed from the commercial, stodgy “Indian” food we remember back in the UK - this is so very different - a true flavour of the Punjab - made with love and served by kind hearts.

There was a very warm welcome at the door, a thoughtful explanation of all the dishes ( including the Punjabi origins, the ingredients/spices, the recommended combinations, the wines etc ) and excellent service throughout the meal - it really was quite memorable.

The starters of the Onion Bhaji and Gol Gappa Chaat were truly outstanding and set our expectations for the mains. We were not disappointed! The layers of flavour in the Honey Cauliflower and Butter Chicken were amazing - all washed down with a few glasses of chilled Alentejo wine.
