“A small family-run restaurant, at first we were scared that there was no one in the restaurant, but we arrived 20 minutes before closing time. We were not disappointed. A very narrow selection of food, but at a very reasonable price, really very cheap. We received nice service and delicious food. I recommend it to everyone who wants to eat fish or curry dishes. I wish the operators good luck.“

“My partner and I were there a few days ago and we loved it. Although it is not a central place in Nazaré, I assure you that it is worth stopping by to have lunch or dinner here, it is a sure success. Cheap, good and filling food. The waitresses are super friendly and the place is beautiful. A 10 without a doubt.“

“I can't say enough good things about this cafe - it's an absolute must-visit! The curry and naan are simply amazing and will leave you craving more. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The whole atmosphere is just gorgeous, with some authentic details. I completely fell in love with this place! Don't miss it :)“

“Grilled “temple”! Go hungry and if you're undecided on what to order... start at the beginning and: sausages (phenomenal rice pudding), then pork, veal and finally, bull steak. Needless to say, all the meat is grilled to perfection. The streaky is so thin... it looks like it came out of the ham. Wonderful! To digest, drink some luzo water and a casol“

“We ate Iberian pork and grilled salmon. Both very good. The side dishes and desserts are also very good. The white sangria is superb. Absolutely recommended. Too bad it was closed the next day for dinner (it was Sunday). Very kind staff.
Place off the beaten track and frequented by locals.“
“We stumbled across this family owned restaurant and enjoyed a “meal of a lifetime.” Mussels, grilled squid and salmon were our main dishes and they were complemented by fresh salads and fish soup. The lemon mousse that finished our meal was pure perfection. When you are in Nazaré, make time to eat a meal at Restaurante Gil Vincente. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Excellent place to kill hunger.
The lemon sauce, exquisite.
I don't give it five stars, because of its policy that they don't sell to you without an order and they only order in person or by phone. Otherwise, wonderful.“
“The owner of the hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant and even walked us over to it and spoke to the staff so we would get a reservation that evening! Luckily we ate early as the place was packed in no time. Many locals including couples and families. I got the steak with garlic sauce garlic and my husband got the turkey steaks. Both came with rice and fries. We cleaned our plates! The bread worked well to sop up the garlic sauce! Definitely worth a return trip!“

“Good price/quality ratio. Two not very large rooms, without sun, decor reminiscent of old pasture houses, well-seasoned homemade food at a reasonable price, friendliness on the part of the owner, who already has a lot of experience in catering. Perfect for those who like pension-type food, served humbly with our grandparents' condiments, timeless, no tourists, no gentrification, just the usual everyday customers and the occasional traveling salesman. Nothing special and that's why it's so special. I want this restaurant to always remain out of fashion, frozen in time, perfect.“
“(Translated by Google) Very good food, great house wine. The owner very polite. We had an excellent dinner in a very nice atmosphere. The price is not excessive in relation to the quality.(Original)Jedzenie bardzo dobre, świetne wino własnej produkcji. Właściciel bardzo uprzejmy. Zjedliśmy doskonały obiad w bardzo miłej atmosferze. Cena nie wygórowana w stosunku do jakości.“

“I've been going to Nazaré for many years, but I've never been to Pitéu. I really enjoyed the outdoor space and the food was fantastic. We ended up having more meals there. I recommend the sea bass and squid, although the sardines were also divine. The price is very affordable. Care was taken with the plating of all the dishes, not just throwing the sardines with the potatoes onto a plate. The crockery also stood out for its difference. I really enjoyed it, I recommend it and I will be back next year with the family.“
