What a pleasant surprise!! Stopped unexpectedly, cozy full restaurant. Nice staff, English speaking. Excellent meal. Wild boar stew and black pasta with shrimps. Both excellent. So much flavor and good portions. The vegetable soup beforehand was also delicious. It was raining and it was chilly, so nice and warming. Dessert and good espresso. What does a man want more? Oh yes, neat and clean toilets, that was great too. We come back!!
Ik kwam hier op zondagmiddag aan… Wow, wat een entree. Terras vol met genietende families. Veel leven in de brouwerij. Echt een aanrader. Op zondag gaat het restaurant om 18:00 uur dicht. Ik had een kamer in het gastenverblijf dus hoefde niet te stressen. Maar wat een fijne plek. Beroemd om zijn stoofvlees. Ik had een hertenstoof met pruimen en wortels. Super! Een genot. Ze hebben ook fijne wijnen. De kamers zijn basic en schoon. Heerlijk ontbijt!

We traveled an hour or so from where we were staying in the Algarve, but it was totally worth it for the pleasant surprise of having lunch in a space with a calm and pleasant atmosphere and delicious food that doesn't disappoint.
We tried the goat and the choquinhos, which were both very well cooked and served.
