We went to this place with friends for the first time, They are buying a house nearby. The portions are large. Three had liver and one had Salmon and prawn skewers. The special of the day was 6.50€ the Owner is a real special character, with perfect English. The food is 100% Portuguese. Great place and a nice little village as well.

This is a place where you should stop to eat. Even though I live far away, when I travel around these parts of the Algarve I make a point of eating at this restaurant and I always leave very satisfied, this week was no exception. I know it's my fault because I love crushed olives and the Algarve is where they make them best, I'm sorry they're not part of the cover charge.In any case, the quality of the food served and the service are really good.

A new favourite stop. Top food choice from veggie bolognaise to Grouse Stew. Perfect. Service with a smile and perfect English. 5star on every level. Toilets were also top drawer.
A restaurant that I will definitely return to, impeccable boss. Super sincere in what she sells to the public. For me, being honest made me more money (I chose a more expensive dish) and another customer. I really liked the space, food and service.

We're so glad to have returned to funchais and food this gem. The freshest seasonal food and I've been spoiled by their cenouras and veggie lasagna. You must try it!!!
