If you find yourself in Porto Cristo, this should be the first place you stop and eat. The view is wonderful, the food is great but most of all, the staff are really nice. Some of the reviews here don't give the place justice because they all seem to come from people that needed to eat 5 minutes after sitting down. If you're in that much of a rush to eat, there's a Burger King within walking distance. If, however, you want to enjoy a nice quiet evening, with good food and a nice glass of wine, this is the place for you. Portions are nice and big, the fish is fresh and the prices are more than decent. Special "thank you" to the owner that was so nice to us the first time we stumbled upon the restaurant that we had to make a reservation and go back once more before leaving
We went dinner with my husband and we really liked the place and I was thinking this is going to be a great night. However we went to the restaurant and I had made a reservation earlier. No one said hi to us, so I started to looking where is my table and I found it. After 5 minutes a waitress came and brought menus for us. My food was good, I ordered chicken. Although there wasn’t any sauce with the chicken. My husband ordered a hamburger and he said it wasn’t so tasty. Ok then we wanted desert and drinks. We waited 15 minutes trying to get the waitress attention. After that she came and I asked menus. She said one moment and we waited other 10minutes. When we had menus, I asked also a drinkmenu because she didn’t bring it. She said she will pick it up but we never had it. My husband ordered banana split, and when he had it, the banana was rare, not fried. I asked if there is any change to have icecream balls with cream, sauce and everything. Like sundae. I didn’t saw it on the menu but the waitress said she can do it for me. Well when my icecream came, there was just 3 balls, not cream or sauce so it was really boring. The balls came with an old bowl so it looked quite reduced. Usually when you order icecream in restaurant you don’t want icecream balls in a old bowl… Ofcourse there is a change that she didn’t understand me, because I asked that in English, otherwise we spoke spanish, but still it was quite disapointment to me. After we ate, we waited our check 20minutes. It didn’t came so we went to the desk asked our check. A waiter started to create it but then he started do other things, and went to took the payment from another customer so we waited again. After he came he went to ask from the other waitress what we ordered and when he heard that I ordered 3 icecream balls they started to jokin about it in spanish, like ”did she really ordered this much and who wants 3 icegream balls seriosly” that was so rude and I understood everything because I also speak little bit spanish. So as a development proposal always say hello to the customer when arrives, don’t let them wait the menus, it won’t take much time to bring the menus. And never joke about the orders. It all is income to the restaurant so why joking about it… all those small things created now a bad experience and I’m still thinking why I can’t eat 3 icecream balls on my holiday :(
Sat here half an hour like we’re invisible ,after 25 minutes asked if we could order to which the reply6 was on momento! 10 minutes a miserable woman with blue gloves asked what we’d like! Face like a slapped behind! Anyway 10 minute-a later drinks arrived all good apart from the sparkling water which should have been still! Just an observation but the man of the establishment cleared a table next us & couldnt be bothered to wipe the table down,a German couple took one look and walked out, cant blame them! Beautiful view not matched by very poor& backward staff!
Don’t worry about the old reviews that knock this restaurant down from it deserved five star status to 4. Recent reviews are along the lines of our experience. The staff although busy were incredibly attentive and concerned for their customers needs even moving tables to be out of the Sun. The food is really delicious, we had the grilled chicken which was very moist. The view is to die for and the atmosphere very relaxing. You pay a lot more if you walk down into the main harbour area for the same food.
Visited on our last day on hols in Porto Cristo, and how we wish we visited sooner! Really good cheap prices for drinks, plus good prices for the food also. Wife & son really enjoyed the pizzas, and I enjoyed the grilled pork tenderloin. The view is the best in Porto Cristo, and the staff were extremely polite & attentive. Highly recommend!
The best restaurant in Porto Cristo . All dishes tasted so good . Food composition was amazing from sea food to meat . If you are looking for romantic place with top food than this restaurant is for you .
A place to have a beer, not so much to eat, but if you feel like having a drink, the friendly owner prepares you a delicious sandwich.
He has gotten us out of trouble. The owner is very kind.
Lovely spot. Good food when compared to alot of places in Porto Cristo. I enjoyed the steak and excellent fries. Staff busy but still were courteous. Would recommend it.
We had coffee and a beer here every day on our trip and ate at the restaurant a couple of times. The coffee is excellent and the food similar. Better to book ahead as it is often booked out. The view from the restaurant is fantastic and really enhances the experience. Highly recommended.

An amazing view, friendly service and great paella. It’s why we come back. It could be a really sophisticated restaurant but they have stuck with wipe down tables and simple menu. I like it for not being pretentious. Joanna our waitress was fun, engaging and most pleasant. The paella was again fantastic. Best to book; I messaged on Facebook. A really nice restaurant in Porto Cristo.
The outside seating is plentiful & lovely. Backdrop of cliff & trees with views over the sea & harbour just below. Parking/drop off is easy though and flight of wide steps spaced well. So a sheltered but gentle breeze setting, peaceful but also visited by locals for the fresh fish & meat dishes. Also vegetarian friendly. Also access down to the beach by stairway with handrails etc. BRILLIANT location, good food and great atmosphere. Celebrated two birthday meals here within a few days!
We stopped early afternoon for a coffee and sat on the upper terrace with a wonderful view, and sound, of the sea. Friendly staff and clean toilet.
Just a wonderful restaurant in the most beautiful setting you could wish for. On the cliff face looking over Porto Cristo beach we were always served excellent food. The waitresses Juany and Christina work so hard to make your visit special. Thoroughly recommend this to anybody visiting Porto Cristo.
