The Polvo Gastronomic Fortnight is taking place in the municipality of Lourinhã and, as is becoming my habit this year, I didn't miss it. This time my choice was the Barracão do Petisco Restaurant in Marquiteira/Santa Bárbara. Barracão do Petisco is a well-organized space, with good table service and quick delivery of dishes. To start, there was Bread Basket (Ribamar Bread, Cornbread and Toast), Olives and Paté de Delícias. For the main course I decided to order the Onion Octopus with Rustic Potatoes and Migas. An interesting dish in which the Octopus has a tasty Onion and goes into the oven, the rustic potatoes such as Cabbage crumbs, Black-Eyed Beans and Cornbread make an excellent accompaniment. The meal was accompanied by Mature White Wine and I finished with a tasty and homemade Delicia da Avó. Meal around €20/25 per person.

Parking: The park is located at the back of the establishment, on the street above. There is parking right on the premises but this is normally occupied by employees.
