"Rota Dos Sabores" provides a dining experience that can best be described as satisfactory, but unremarkable. On our initial visit, we were delighted by a delicious lamb dish, which raised our expectations considerably. However, subsequent visits revealed that the other offerings were merely adequate—neither particularly good nor bad.
The staff, though courteous, appeared somewhat disoriented, which contributed to a sense of disorganization within the establishment. Communication proved challenging, as they do not speak English, making it difficult to convey our preferences or inquire about the menu.
Overall, while our experience at "Rota Dos Sabores" was passable, it lacked the warmth and hospitality that might make one feel truly at ease. Regrettably, the establishment falls short of the high rating it holds on Google Maps.

Firstly, we would like to highlight the quality of the food in the restaurant. The dishes were delicious and very well prepared, reflecting the excellent reputation of the establishment. The authentic flavors and fresh ingredients were greatly appreciated by all members of our group.

If you are looking for a restaurant in Santa Cruz, this is the place to stop: impeccable and very welcoming service, a varied menu with typical dishes, served in quantity and above all of quality. I tried the saber with banana and curry, then a cheese pie (cottage cheese pie): a delight!!!

Good restaurant, good service and good price. Two of us had dinner with a portion of sautéed squid, a plate of swordfish and we accompanied it with a liter of white sangria. To finish, dessert of cheesecake with passion fruit, exquisite. €54 account. All the food very good. 100% recommended.

Very good restaurant in the centre of Santa Cruz with the smiliest waitresses and with very tasty foods.
I didn't know how they made it, but I've never had such a delicious shrimp pasta (linguini com cambas)! And "Filete de espada com banana e caril" was fantastic too! And the serving was also very imaginative.
Our last (and perhaps best) lunch in Madeira.? Thank you!

Essen vollkommen In Ordnung. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir haben die Bedienungen Fatima und Luis kennengelernt und eine sehr nette und spaßige Zeit gehabt. Beide waren stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und sind auf extra Wünsche eingegangen. Im gegenzug zu den anderen "Touristischen" Restaurants sind die Speisen etwas liebevoller angerichtet. Wir kommen wieder!
