Went here on the last day of our holiday last week and had an amazing lunch. Had the mix seafood and squid. Lovely fresh seafood. Will come back the next time we are in Lisbon.

Too packed. You cannot get away from the table without asking the person sitting next to you to move out. Tables are too close. No room for your belongings.

Floresta das Escadinhas surrounds you with the aroma of grilled squid, octopus and sardines. The grill is near the tables, on plain sight, and guests can watch and smell the food that will be served on their plates. The staff is attentive and flexible, the options are well defined and limited to the fresh produce that is available each day. Enjoy!

Not as exceptional as what was portrayed online. Food was good, but not mesmerising. Staff were very friendly! After seing reviews online we were expecting a lot more from the food.

Nothing special rather than all the reviews, food was salty

Tight quarters but we had a good time visiting with our table neighbors. The appetizer contained a large quantity of tasty sausage but the soup was a bit drab. The Octopus did not have the grilled flavor I expected and I’ve had better experiences in Lisbon in that regard.

The restaurant is located in the city centre, making it relatively convenient to get there. I chose the mixed fish plate, as the fish tasted juicy and tender. Tulio served me; he was very friendly and helpful.

We were warmly welcomed on a rainy day. Our server Tulio made us feel right at home. We had a great time and the food (sardines!) was fantastic. You must visit if you are in Lisbon.

I came here for lunch. This is what I had - Sardines (what they are famous for) - Potatoes as side - one glass of white wine (vinho do casa) - a bottle of still water - baba de Camelo as dessert. Total: 19.00euros Food quality is great. I enjoyed everything I had, including the dessert which was suggested by Tulio, the waiter assigned to my table. The place is very small and gets crowded very easily. As a potential improvement, I would suggest to lower the number of tables in the restaurant. With as many tables as there are right now, you end up having lunch with the people sitting at the table next to you. Given this, I would not suggest this place to someone looking for a relaxed and quite environment where to have lunch. On the contrary, if you like being surrounded by people, lots of noise and a very familiar environment, this place is for you.
