A little hidden with fresh fish and excellent service prices a little expensive but the food is worth it…

The kitchen simply cannot keep up with the tables. We were informed that if we ordered any of the specialties the waiting time would be well over an hour. We ended up ordering simple dishes, which came completely bland and without any vegetable accompaniment, and with almost an hour of waiting.

Alcatruz was once a good restaurant.
Now, the service is terrible and the food is terrible.
I don't recommend

Family dinner, excellent anchovies, good clams, affordable price, happy atmosphere provided by Mr. Luís and some customers, occasionally.

Located in a pretty, quiet little street parallel to the quays, typical Santa Luzia restaurant very often frequented by locals
Terrace well protected from the sun and without too many passages
Quality cuisine, well prepared, pleasant and unpretentious, diversified menu, generous portions that encourage sharing

We found it by chance and we liked it. The baked octopus and the mussels were very delicious. The oysters were good and cheap €1.50
Parking: Easy and free parking nearby.

We have been lucky because it is a very busy restaurant and they served us without a reservation. Very good food!!! We have enjoyed.

Excellent address which was recommended to us by locals. We have been there several times. We had the opportunity to taste the caldeirada, grilled sea bream and octopus skewers without any disappointment. Special mention for...the chocolate mousse. Simply excellent. And we finish it all off with a little arbutus alcohol. In terms of service, nothing to say. In summary, a very good address that is worth the detour.

Very poorly sanitized space. Dishes/Snacks listed on the menu were not available. Very expensive for what you eat.

The best restaurant in the area to eat rice with octopus. Cozy and non-touristy atmosphere. Everything we ordered was exquisite and very well priced. Without a doubt we will repeat.

Great!!!!
As soon as you see the place it invites you to enter. Visible kitchen (congratulations to the cooks), very friendly waitress and super good food. We ordered some mussels with clams that I couldn't stop dipping bread in and the rice with octopus for two which, as you can see, they eat 6 ?. We will return without hesitation.
