I was here in 2021 and made a point of returning this year. The experience remained pleasant.The service is impeccable and so is the food. I went back to repeating the tomato soup for starters, which had left me with such fond memories. It remains divine and rich.For the main course I choose the cod fritters with coriander rice. A delight! The fritters were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The taste was on point. The rice is very loose, but without too much water.A must for anyone going to Praia do Barrel.

Very nice restaurant in keeping with the location. Careful kitchen and menu with excellent preparation. Very friendly staff. It's not cheap but it's worth at least 1 time to visit! You can complement with the end of the night at the Piano bar. I recommend and repeat whenever I come to Pedras del Rei.

Mooi resort. Leuk aangelegd/ingericht. Onze villa was qua ruimte groot genoeg. Slaapkamers boven zijn prima. Wel jammer dat de villa’s gehorig zijn; de buren zijn bijna letterlijk te volgen door de dunne muren. En rennende kinderen zijn helaas ook enigszins een overlast.

Stayed here for a week after visiting Porto and Lisbon .It is the perfect antidote to hectic sightseeing trips to major cities . We like this hotel very much , the staff are all polite and helpful. The hotel also very kindly upgraded our room to a suite which we appreciate very much .Particularly the robe and slippers . We had a half board package which we found ideal .Breakfast was substantial and good quality even though it became much busier later in the week with staff struggling to manage . Evening meals in the restaurant were three courses , waiter service which is unusual but my wife and I much prefer to the ubiquitous buffet . Food was good but understandably to a budget , we always enjoyed our main course which had a good variety. We always went for the fish option and enjoyed . Wine list substantial and fairly priced we never paid more that 20 euros for a bottle . Waiting staff friendly and attentive . Grounds are lovely and main pool was very nice but became busy later in the week with families . Two bits of advice , you need a rental car as it’s isolated and if you don’t like children steer clear . We looked it very much and would use again .
