I went to Amandius over a year ago with work colleagues. Nowadays, when there are francesinhas everywhere (unfortunately, the vast majority of them are of highly dubious quality), and as I am an enthusiast of the dish, I still sometimes talk about Amandius's francesinha and how much it surprised me, at the same time. that I identified points for improvement. It was unfair, however, that I didn't make my ruling at the time, I do it now.
I really liked Amandius' sauce, it's a traditional sauce that takes us to Porto's breweries. This being the only sauce that I recognize as a francesinha sauce, a big point in favor! The steak was quality and I liked the concept of people being able to choose between pork, chicken or beef. It's a concept I've never seen before and I confess that I thought it was cool.
The only flaw to point out in the French style was the smoked sausage. A quality fresh sausage from a good butcher in SMF would be better in my opinion, even if it inflates the price of the product a little. But it's not something that compromises my perception of the product too much, because one day I'll order it without sausage and that's it.
