Praceta is, without a doubt, one of my go-to restaurants when I miss a good pasta dish. It has the elegant atmosphere of a ristorante, but the friendliness of a trattoria and staff always ready to help the most indecisive minds. The pastas are, for me, the gold of the dish, along with the desserts, but the pizza is also good (although I'm not a fan of balsamic vinegar on pizza as a topping). It fills up very quickly and doesn't take reservations, so I recommend either going early or bringing a book while you wait.
Parking: Before reaching Rua do Praceta there is a free car park that usually always has spaces available.

Today myself and wife visited the castle and caves. Afterwards we came to the praceta restaurant. For lunch what a treat we both had tomato soup, I had a steak you would die for 10 out of 10, my wife had chicken and pineapple not a thing left on the plate, to finish off a dessert of lemon ice cream and ice cold pineapple ?, the two glasses of beer was ice cold. We are staying about 30mins away so I am sure we will be back many thanks to the restaurant team Ivan Boreham u.k

Good food, Normal. The attention was good. Regarding the drink, the worst lemonade I have ever had in my life. It was lemon water. Don't like the concept of having the kitchen visible to everyone. It makes an incredible noise, listening and seeing while you eat how they wash the dishes was not to my liking, the table I occupied was right next to it. You don't eat in peace!!
Very well organized restaurant. The staff are always very attentive and the food is very good. The steak with 4 cheeses was divine. It's one of those places where we come in and feel like we can relax and enjoy a well-decorated space with a welcoming atmosphere. We'll be back again but now for the pizzas and pastas. ?
