It was our second time at this restaurant. The location is excellent, next to (and overlooking) a small waterfall on the Teixeira River.
Now there is new management.
We ate breast accompanied by salad, rice, potatoes and black beans. Everything was good, but the rice was great.
We also ate Peasant Steak with mushroom sauce, accompanied by rice and potatoes. Using my husband's words: "It was divine."
The atmosphere remains very pleasant and the service is very good.

At O Camponês, the picanha is a true masterpiece. Juicy and tender, it is seasoned to perfection, enhancing its natural flavor. Side dishes, such as beans and starters, complement the meat impeccably.
With a welcoming atmosphere and an excellent wine list (in 4D).
Camponês provides an unparalleled gastronomic experience. Highly recommended for lovers of quality meat.

Ruth was amazing! She spoke very little English and we speak no Portuguese but with Google translate, we ordered an amazing dinner and dessert. We had a great time and would go back again!
