Without exaggeration, one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and our favorite meal in Madeira. We got the beef brisket and pork shank, which were excellent! The meats are all marinated and smoked on-site and the flavors are truly delicious. To drink we just had the fresh squeezed lemonade which was wonderful. For dessert we had the passion fruit crème brûlée which was incredible. Wonderful and super friendly service! If you have the chance, definitely make it a point to try...
Excellent spot for food. We came here after a Levada hike and the food was incredible, it was fine dining quality. We had their smoked brisket and the fish of the day which were both incredible. For dessert, we got the passion fruit creme brûlée, and they did the top glazing with a torch on the table, same experience you would get at a fine dining spot.
The location is between a gorgeous valley and right in front of the sea, they have two pools.
