I ate here by chance and it was amazing! The food was really well made; it felt like homemade in the best way possible . the chorizo and alheira were delicious, the meats were very tasty ! I ate really well– I left satisfied. Totally recommend this spot!

Very nice food at a good price. Our children had ham and cheese toasties and we had the steak sandwiches with egg. Friendly and helpful staff prevented us tourists from ordering too much food!

Unfortunately, the service is unfriendly and slow, even though there are hardly any customers there. The fries were fried in old fat. We wouldn't come here again, except for a beer after a hike in this beautiful area. The restaurant probably only survives thanks to the walk-in customers and tour groups that stop here.

Worst possible experience for an order as simple as a coffee and a slice of salami. It was as dry as a stone and when I complained, they replaced it with another one. This other one came with a label attached to the cookie. Not only was it a purchase, but they didn't even bother to disguise it. Afterwards, I complained again and they only responded with a shrug of the shoulders. I gave up and left. How terrible.

I was very well served, fast service, tasty food, very well served portions, I wasn't expecting so much food. We ate regional chopped meat, steak with pepper, bolo do caco, very good, fresh and tasty!!

Picado superb - first time when advertised food for 2 people is really enough for 2 people, coffee superb, desert superb, atmosfere in the middle of laurisilva forrest with amazing view. For me great experience, great food!

Superb place to eat, really nice updated interior and large glass windows with views of the stream and surrounding trees!
Food was amazing, everyone in our group said the same. Arrived quick, hot and tasty. The espetada was the best I've had. Service was excellent too, no faults at all. Can't wait to go back!
