This is the second time I've been to this restaurant because it has great food at a reasonable price. This time we had to be patient to be seen, which didn't happen the first time I went there.
It deserves to have more comments than it does. Maybe it's because it's not touristy and the typical Portuguese don't have the habit of writing reviews, I don't know. What is certain is that it serves typical Portuguese food with large portions and an excellent quality/price ratio. We go frequently when we are visiting Santarém. Always good service and good food. It is also suitable for large groups and families, it even has a semi-enclosed space with a swing...
Above average restaurant, very friendly staff, great food. But getting to your car and having your car robbed is unpleasant. I had already seen on TV that Santarém was terrible, but I didn't want to believe it. I ended up finding out from experience. It's a shame to come on the weekend to experience a bit of Ribatejo traditions, and still be worse than the capital.But top restaurant.
