I was the first one to be seated for dinner service and my server was gracious and explained the menu to me, emphasizing her recommendations. I had the grilled tuna with vegetables, and the dish was simply one of the best dishes I’ve had since visiting Portugal! It was so flavorful, and when paired with port wine turned out to be a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant if ever in Santarem Portugal! And my server was so adorable; coming from America, I gave her a 20% tip, which is standard in America for wonderful service and she bashfully refused the tip. I essentially had to run out of the restaurant with a smile on my face for her to take the tip! We probably need to rethink the tipping structure in America…Anyway, great restaurant!
