Was just checking out the menu outside and got talking to the affable and really cool son of the owner and head chef (proper family business with his Angolan mother). The food is primarily Angolan-inspired and there’s such a delicate level of care and warmth that comes with these dishes, it’s fresh home-cooked food that is inimitable in terms of taste and quality. We wanted everything on the menu between the two of us! Have to recommend the traditional Angolan chicken stew dish (be prepared to use your hands!!) but also really recommend the coconut shrimp curry, possibly my favourite thing I tried out here in Lisboa.
