We beat the crowds on Sunday evening in May. The restaurant was a short 15 minute drive from Lousã where we were staying. The restaurant is very attractive & popular filling up quickly. I chose the steak on a tile with migas & volcano potatoes. Fantastic! (The steak was actually veal, super tender, juicy & delicious.) My boyfriend got the chicken with rice, which he enjoyed, but he said not exactly what he was expecting. Our friend had the seafood risotto which she liked but thought it was a little salty. We finished our meals & my boyfriend got an aperitif and asked for the dessert menu, which never came. We waited about 35-40 minutes more to try & get the check and noticed another table go up to the bar counter to pay. My friend & I went outside my boyfriend had to wait another 10 minutes to get the check & finally pay. The restaurant is very popular but was not completely full, think they need to add more servers to handle the crowd. So food 5 stars, service -4 stars.
The dishes didn't arrived at the same time, forcing us to eat while the others at our table, waited at least 10 minutes.
Very busy restaurant. We had a reservation but were 40m late. Even though, the reception still managed to find us a table only having us wait for 10m.We ordered hot mixed platter. Tiger shrimps are really good, but not lobsters which are too salty. No idea why they put so much extra salt on lobsters naturally from the sea.
Really good place whit amazing food, big thanks for service and good suggestions everything was 10/10

5 star food with a 5 star service.
Parking: Parking on the opposite side of the road.
Went with a large group. Everyone loved their meal. We especially loved the Soupas do Mar and the Sangria. Lots of delicious options.
Great please, excellent food and service. Shellfish rice was amazing.
The one and only place for a "Sea Soup"... Traditional Portuguese food and seafood, mainly grilled. If you want to ensure a seat, make sure you arrive very early on because it can get totally full very quickly. Highly recommended.
Visited this resto for dinner on a Sunday evening. Reservation by phone did not worked out - tried 3x at different times but call remained unanswered. Seems they don't accept reservations as per one of the waitresses...she recommended to pass by before 20h00 in order to have a seat. At 20h30 the lower level of the resto was nearly full. The food was really good and plenty - the serving lady was very helpfull in choosing the right amount of food (recommend to check this out as some portions of 1 serves easily 2 people). Despite her English vocabulary was rather limited she did a great job!I would definetely come back here! -1 * for unclear reservation options.
